Tommy at school

John brought home some photos of Tommy moving in at UD.

His dorm: Madonna Hall

They bunked the beds to get more space.

So, there you have it--a typical college dorm room.

Before leaving, John also took some nice photos of the campus:

See you in December, Tommy! Don't forget to call and email. :-) We miss you and we love you!!

Looks good! I hope Tommy is going to be very happy there.

Did you know that UD has a Haggar center just as St. Mary's does???
Same benefactor, more or less.

The campus looks really green. I remember the tower, and the building style. Fun!

It all looks very familiar to us, Tommy! We're hoping and praying that you have a GREAT year, and a very successful career at UD! We went to a local playhouse presentation of South Pacific last night - lots of college kids in the cast. We thought about you at UD, Tommy . . . any thespian plans yet?

Lots of Love,

Pa-Pa-Pa

Carpet in the rooms?! Sheesh, what's next, your own private jacuzzi? Back in my day, the floors were hard, dusty linoleum and the beds were just planks of wood... splintery wood... with nails poking up through them... red hot nails. And you see all those pretty bricks in the mall, yeah, well, we had to dredge up the clay for them and carry it in great piles on our heads all day long -- just so you could walk to class without having to slog through all that quicksand. Sheesh, these kids these days have it so easy.

Well, the bit about the linoleum is true anyway.

Enjoy living in luxury, young man.
