The problem is that the Girl Scouts are working with Planned Parenthood to promote things that are in reality bad for girls, but the Girl Scouts and Planned Parenthood present them as good for girls. This causes confusion. It does not teach the truth that human bodies are sacred, inherently dignified, and should be treated with respect and dignity. Failing to teach this truth and presenting instead a cultural lie will lead some young people to do things that will harm them both physically and emotionally.
If our family gives money to the Girl Scouts now, we would be indirectly supporting this evil activity. You will remember that we did not shop at Target for many years when their parent company supported Planned Parenthood. Now, we choose not to buy things from the Girl Scouts while they are distributing this type of false information from Planned Parenthood. If their connection with Planned Parenthood is broken, and they stop promoting lies about the inherent dignity of all human beings, including teenagers and unborn children, then I will be happy to purchase and enjoy delicious Girl Scout cookies again.
